Factory Samples!

Steven Rhodes fans,

Today was a special day! We received samples from the factory of all three Steven Rhodes Games Vol. 2 titles: Cryptozoology for Beginners, Living Well Is the Best Revenge, and Let’s Call the Exorcist. These are digitally printed, but should give a great sense of the final product and let us look for any issues. For our team, it’s always super cool to see something we’ve only seen as prototypes and digital files in near-final form for the first time.

We found a couple things we wanted to adjust to make it even better (such as adjusting the inserts to fit sleeved cards better), but overall we are really happy and almost ready to give the thumbs up to begin actual manufacturing. We are definitely on schedule for our estimated September fulfillment.

Files to the Factory! Plus Kickstarter for Steve Jackson’s Munchkin Presents Batman

Steven Rhodes fans,

We have some amazing news! We have completed ALL work on the three Steven Rhodes Games Vol. 2 titles: Cryptozoology for Beginners, Living Well Is the Best Revenge, and Let’s Call the Exorcist. We have sent files to the factory, so it can begin work right away.

In the weeks and months to come, we’ll be working with the factory to make sure everything is perfect. This will involve various digital proofs, photos and videos from the factory, and (eventually) physical samples of the games. We will share photos of different parts of the process and generally keep you updated. In the meantime, we’ll provide some more previews of the games in the weeks to come.

Also, the deadline for completing BackerKit surveys has passed. However, it’s still NOT too late for those of you who haven’t finished your surveys. Complete your survey now and you can still get your rewards at the same time as other backers. Remember: We can’t send your games unless you give us your shipping information and pay for shipping. Steve Jackson’s Munchkin Presents Batman

Holy amazing Kickstarter, Batman! We know you love games with cool art and fun gameplay, so we thought you might be interested in another very special Kickstarter campaign.

We worked with our good friends at Steve Jackson Games on their new game Munchkin Presents Batman and it's on Kickstarter NOW. Illustrated by John Kovalic, with far more cards than any normal Munchkin set, this blockbuster campaign will run until March 18.

Players take the part of Batman’s Rogues Gallery, causing trouble throughout Gotham City, ranging from petty crime (Take Candy from a Baby) to nigh-impossible (Reveal the Location of the Batcave). Along the way, they will Jaywalk, Conspire to Commit Mopery and Dopery, and Dip Commissioner Gordon in Peanut Butter. Players will have dozens of weird and wacky hirelings and gadgets to help them. But Batman, Robin, and Commissioner Gordon are there to stop them. The first one to Level 10 is the greatest Super-Villain in Gotham City!

Just a short update this time as we are busily putting very last touches on all three games this week and then getting files to the factory!

One last reminder: The deadline for BackerKit surveys is February 28! We will charge credit cards the day after, so make sure you’ve finished your survey and submitted the correct credit card info. Currently, 91% of you have completed your surveys… awesome work!

Finalizing the Games… and Reminder: Finish Your Surveys!

Steven Rhodes fans,

We’ve been working hard to finish all three Steven Rhodes Games Vol. 2 titles. Here’s the rundown: All cards are finalized, some tokens are being tweaked, boxes are just about final, and rulebooks are being routed and rerouted to polish them as much as possible. We expect to send files to the factory at the end of this week or next week. So we’re almost there!

In terms of BackerKit surveys, 89% of you have completed them so far… thank you! That’s like a B+, so pretty good. But let’s get it up to an A!

Happy New Year! You should all have received emails from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards. The deadline to finish your survey is February 28, so hurry!

Instructions directly from BackerKit:

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like.

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
